He's here!!! I started having contractions Friday at like 2 am. I woke up crying out and I'm pretty sure I scared Nicholas out of sleep :). We waited to make sure the contractions were real (they sure as heck felt real!) and they were all about 1-2 minutes apart, so we headed for the hospital.
Our friends, Jared and Lacey West, had just helped us put in our car seat Thursday night and earlier that day Nicholas wanted to go get hospital treats, thinking he'd probably eat them all by the time I actually had the baby. We were expecting some time next week, but the timing all seemed to work out. Nicholas also told Ethan in my tummy that if he loved him he would come that night so he wouldn't have to go to work on Friday :). I guess he loves his dad!
This is him the day after he was born. Can you believe all that hair?! We were SHOCKED! We literally thought he was going to be bald until he was at least 2. I even brought a beanie to the hospital to cover his bald head but didn't use it because I wanted to show off his hair! He was a little jaundous so they sent us home with a Bililight to help fight it off. Its kinda like a little tanning bed and the light kills the jaundous and he poops it out. Its so hard to leave him on the little bed because we all want to hold him all the time!
This is about 9:30 and I had been pushing for about an hour already. Just a few more pushes and an epeasiotomy and he was out!
They had to put this gooey cream on his eyes because they were swollen but he came out and immediately opened his eyes and his mouth. He's obsessed with his tongue!
He's all cleaned up :)
Ha ha he looks like a mummy in this picture. You can see the red jaundous around his mouth a little bit. I can't believe he's here! Thanks so much to everyone for their wonderful support and concern!

Oh my goodness, he is so precious!! I can't believe you are a mommy!!! Oh Kelli, he is so cute! And you look so great in all of your pictures...I can't believe you just had a baby! Congratulations!! Okay, we are totally coming down to Cedar to see him...I can't wait!!

We are going to up to utah this next weekend for a couple of weddings. I want to stop by your place and see you guys on Sunday if thats ok!!! I will call you later about it. HIS HAIR! Wow didnt see that one coming. You look so cute in your pictures. I looked like a zombi (spelling). Cute little boy. You guys look so happy!!

Oh my goodness he is so adorable...HELLO HAIR! I can't beleive you were having a baby and you looked so good in all of the pictures! I mean seriously you didn't even have a strand of hair out of place. You guys look so happy and I am coming over to see him SOON, like tomorrow :) I can't take it any longer.
