Happy Halloween!

I am actually posting! Its amazing I know. I've just not been feeling the blog thing lately, but it has been almost four months so I probably should update.

What has been happening in our lives in the past four months? Well, here we go:

Moved back to Cedar from Alaska

Moved into a new house

Nicholas got a job for SUU Athletics

Started school

Found out we are having a girl

Ethan started walking

.... Those are probably the main points of interest :)

This past week I designed Nicholas a project to build :). He loves working with his tools and wood so he enjoyed the process as much as Ethan has loved the product. I had Nick build a play house in Ethan's room. The rooms we have are on the smaller side so the plan is to store Ethan's toys underneath this play house. I'll have to take pictures of his room when it's all done. It still has a little work to do.

Halloween was a lot of fun yesterday. I bought Ethan a monkey costume from Costco back in August, but Nicholas thought his costume needed to be a bit more manly (he's one!), but I said ok. So, I made this red tie and he was Donkey Kong :).

We went trick-or-treating with my neighbor and friend, Adri, and her kids.

Nicholas had to work so he couldn't go trick-or-treating with us, so I invited my good friend Vanessa over (her husband had to work all night too). It took a little persuasion, but she finally agreed to dress up with me :).

Trick-or-treating was fun, but it was freezing! This is how the whole night was; Deagan and Kodi were always way ahead, Coen trying to wait for Ethan, and Ethan bringing up the rear.

We got home, handed out candy to the tons of trick-or-treaters, and ordered Applebee's takeout. After putting Ethan to bed, we watched The Strangers, the freakiest movie! I hate those scary movies that are based on true stories. It was a long night, but worth it! Thanks Nes for a fun girl's Halloween night out!
