I don't know why but I just haven't felt like taking pictures lately. It's really lame I know especially since Ethan changes so much everyday but he just doesn't do anything new, ya know? When he starts to smile I think I'll take a lot more pictures of him. We took some more family pictures and I posted some of them in the title of this blog.
Oh we did go see Harry Potter 6 with Nick and Erica (my mother and father in law). They came into town with Lyndsey, Nicholas' youngest sister, so she could watch Ethan while we went to the movie. It was the first time I've left him with anyone but his dad and it was hard! Erica and I were texting Lyndsey throughout the whole movie to make sure he was ok :). The movie was awesome though! I really liked it a lot. The book was better of course but that goes without saying. Next time I post I'll definitely put some new pictures of Ethan up but I can only take so many of him just sitting there. :)

Adjusting to staying at home is hard. No one ever tells you ahead of time that it can be boring. It took me a while to adjust to being super busy to staying home with an infant who just slept alot. It will get better!
It definatley is hard to stay home! Especially for us moms who were super busy before. But it will get better - And then there will always be hard days mixed in there too. I still get stuck in a rut sometimes, but I just have to make lists and goals for myself to accomplish. Hang in there! (and yes, it will bet a lot more fun when he gets more interactive!)
so yeah,.. you're first one is definitely going to be the hardest to adjust to I'm thinking,.. once you've got 2 or more you start having more to do I think.
One thing that helps my sister in law is going out with play groups and things to the park. Ethan is still too young to appreciate having friends though. So that might still be tough.
The good news is he will start being smiley and responding more at about 4 months right? which will creep up on you really fast. I'm jealous that you guys are in a financial position to be a stay at home mom. I think of all of the things I want to do when our little girl is here and it's probably all I'm going to be able to do to feel like I'm spending enough time with her when I get home from work. Let alone take care of the laundry and whatnot. Anyway. Hopefully you can enjoy some of the time to work on some of your hobbies or doing your best at housekeeping now while there's not much else to do. I've heard it only gets harder to stay on top of things the older they get. :)
hang in there. there are hard times for sure but the cute things they do will always out weigh the hard times. hang in there
I wish it was like that for me when Maclyn was first born, He was such a sick and cranky baby that I didnt have time to be bored, I was just very tired and stressed. So feel lucky to have a pepacful healthy little guy. Hang in there though, and hey not long after this post he did smile so things change fast, he sure is cute.
