Alyvia's Blessing

Alyvia was blessed today by her father, Nicholas. We had a sweet moment of bliss while she was being blessed and then, of course, Ethan ended that moment abruptly :). Church at 11:00 is so hard because his nap is at about 11:30. Needless to say, Sacrament Meeting is hell and it was no different today. He played on the ipad during the blessing, but shortly after he transformed into Dr. Jekyl. Oh, well. Life doesn't stop for special moments.

After the blessing. My mother-in-law made certain I got pictures of Lyvi in her blessing outfit because I got exactly zero pictures of Ethan when he was blessed. So sad... I was too worried about the luncheon afterward.

I should've taken pictures of everyone that came, but of course, I was more concerned about the luncheon and feeding everyone. It turned out well though! We had my parents, Nick's parents, Nick's grandparents, 3 of Nick's sisters and 2 brothers, Nick's two uncles, Vanessa and Joe Ellis, and Dustin and Jenne Wittwer.
